Promoting Environmentally-Friendly Practices for Increased Crop Yields

The goal is to increase crop yields while sustaining and protecting the environment.

The primary aim of this project is to dissuade the farmers from using harmful chemical pesticides, which over the years have destroyed the environment and progressively reduced yields. It is the classic syndrome of using more and more pesticide every year with less effectiveness. As a result of excessive and indiscriminate use of pesticides, many species of birds have reached the brink of extinction. Even the common sparrow is now no longer seen in rural India. The excessive use of pesticides has adversely affected the flora and fauna. In addition to this, traditional chemical pesticides have contaminated groundwater, and harmful residue is found in food. If the pilot project is proven successful, these techniques could be deployed in other parts of India.

For the rejuvenation of flora and fauna, awareness among the population is needed. One of our aims is to take this awareness campaign to the people through audiovisual means, lectures, seminars, cultural shows, and by establishing environment protection centers where no such chemicals and pesticides are utilized.

  • Protection of Environment and Encouragement of Forestation: The project emphasizes the protection of the environment by promoting sustainable agricultural practices that do not harm the ecosystem. Additionally, it encourages forestation to restore the natural balance, support biodiversity, and enhance the habitat for wildlife. This initiative aims to create a greener environment and contribute to the fight against climate change.
